H.E. PRESIDENT KUFUOR ATTENDING THE BEIJING SUMMIT

H.E. Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor, the president of the Republic of Ghana, was leaving for Beijing, China to attend the Beijing Summit and the 3rd Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation to be held in Beijing, China from November 3rd to 5th, 2006. During the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, H.E. President Kufuor will meet H.E. Mr. Hu Jintao, the president of the People's Republic of China, and H.E. Mr. Wen Jiabao, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. H.E. President Kufuor said that he was glad to attend the Beijing Summit and the 3rd Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation and meet H.E. Mr. Hu Jintao and H.E. Mr. Wen Jiabao in Beijing, China. He believed that it would further strengthen the bilateral relationship and trade and economic communications between the two countries.          

 

Mr. Wang Chengjun, Charge d'affairs a.i. of the Chinese Embassy, saw H.E. President John Agyekum Kufuor off at the Kotoka airport in Accra on October 30th, 2006 and wished him a very successful visit.
