Chinese Ambassador To Ghana H.E. Shi Ting Wang Invites the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana to His Residence

On December 6, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Shi Ting Wang and his wife, Mrs. Mary Zhao, invited the First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Rebecca Naa Okaikor Akufo-Addo to their Residence. Mrs. Shirley Laryea from the Office of the First Lady, and Mr. Zhu Jing, the Political Counselor of the Embassy were present.

Ambassador Wang said that China is working closely with Ghana to implement the important outcomes of the state visit by H.E. President Akufo-Addo to China and his attendance to the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC). He thanked the First Lady for her support to the development of China-Ghana relations. H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo thanked China for its help in the economic and social development of Ghana over the years. She recalled with delight her trip with H.E. President Akufo-Addo to China and thanked China for the meticulous arrangements. Ambassador Wang also introduced traditional Chinese handicrafts such as Chinese landscape paintings, Chinese porcelain and Chinese double-sided embroidery. H.E. Rebecca Akufo-Addo highly appreciated China's glorious history and exquisite traditional art.
