On November 22nd, 2017, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana H.E. Mdm. Sun Baohong attended and addressed the exclusive dinner on Belt and Road Initiative held by the Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Ltd.. Ms. Mansa Nettey, the CEO of the Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Ltd., senior executives of the Standard Chartered Bank China Ltd. and representatives of Chinese enterprises in Ghana attended this event.
Ambassador Sun thanked the Standard Chartered Bank Ghana Ltd. for holding the exclusive dinner on Belt and Road, commended the active role the Standard Chartered Bank has played in building the Belt and Road, and wished the Bank’s One Belt One Road Show a complete success. She said that the Belt and Road Initiative opens up wider opportunities for win-win cooperation between China and Africa, and countries in the world should jointly build the Belt and Road so as to add new impetus to common development.
Ms. Nettey, welcomed Ambassador Sun’s presence to the exclusive dinner and introduced the Standard Chartered Bank’s 2017 One Belt One Road Show. She said that the Bank, by virtue of the platform of Belt and Road and its own advantages, would continue to endeavor to promote the economic and trade cooperation between China and Ghana and provide quality products and services to the Chinese enterprises in Ghana.
