Chinese Ambassador to Ghana H. E. Mdm. Sun Baohong Attended the 4th Made in Ghana Product and Service Awards

On August 26th 2016, the 4th Made in Ghana Product and Service Awards was held in State House ceremoniously. Chinese Ambassador to Ghana H.E. Mdm. Sun Baohong was invited to attend the ceremony and deliver a speech. Hon. Nil Osah Mills, Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Mr. Sam Ato. Gaisie, President of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana, and representatives from other relevant government authorities, associations, business and banking communities as well as diplomatic missions to Ghana also attended the event.

In her speech, Ambassador Sun introduced the current situation of the economic and trade cooperation between China and Ghana, as well as the new normal of Chinese economy. Ambassador Sun expressed the hope that both China and Ghana should take the opportunity of implementing the follow-up actions of FOCAC and further promote the transformation and upgrading of China-Ghana cooperation. China is willing to participate in Ghana’s industrialization and agricultural modernization, and strengthen exchanges and mutual learning as well as institution-building of bilateral cooperation so as to speed up investment cooperation and achieve common development.

Ambassador Sun also presented the certificates of Made in Ghana Product and Service Awards to Homepro Ghana Limited invested by Chinese Senda Group and other two local companies.

This year’s Made in Ghana Product and Service Awards is the fourth edition, which is organized by EFG. The topic of this year is “Industrialization, the Key Strategy to Accelerated Economic Development and Job Creation”.
