Chinese and African leaders have gathered in the southern Chinese tech hub of Shenzhen for the China-Africa Private Sector Cooperation Forum. Reporter Xu Hua has the story.

President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, addressed the 2024 China-Africa Private Sector Cooperation Forum in Shenzhen, expressing the intention to replicate transformative success seen in Shenzhen across Africa.

President Akufo-Addo highlighted the potential for investment in renewable energy, which was echoed by Chinese delegates at the Forum.

The forum saw dozens of agreements signed in areas including medical and health care, transportation and e-commerce, which are expected to further promote the upgrading of industrialization across Africa.
