CHINESE AMBASSADOR TO GHANA, H.E. MR. SHI TING WANG MEETS WITH THE CHAIRMAN OF THE NEW PATRIOTIC PARTY, HON. FREDDIE BLAY

On June 3, Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Shi Ting Wang met with Hon. Frederick Worsemao Armah Blay, the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). The two sides exchanged views on relations between the two parties and the two countries as well as hot international issues of common concern. Hon. Michael Kwasi Omari-Wadie, the 3rd Vice Chairman of NPP, Mr Emmanuel Attafuah Danso, Director of the International relations of NPP, as well as Mr. Zhu Jing, the Political Counselor of the Embassy were present at the meeting.

Ambassador Wang welcomed Chairman Blay and his party members to the Embassy. He thanked the New Patriotic Party and Hon. Freddie Blay for their positive contributions to the development of China-Ghana relations and introduced the latest progress of the China-US economic and trade friction. Ambassador Wang said that China is willing to work with Ghana to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning, enhance openness and cooperation, and build a solid foundation for mutual benefits of a win-win cooperation between the two countries.

Chairman Blay thanked Ambassador Wang for his introduction and stated that China is the executor and defender of international trade rules as well as a reliable development partner for African. The New Patriotic Party Government of Ghana pursues an open development policy and welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest in Ghana and benefit peoples of the two countries with fruitful outcomes.
