On 20th April 2020, the Chinese Embassy in Ghana donated one accurate temperature measurement thermal device and 6000 face masks, valued at 70,000 Cedis to the Defence Ministry of Ghana for its fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
This accurate temperature measurement thermal device is capable of analyzing human body temperature with great precision and can therefore instantly detect cases of fever. This device is widely used in public places as an important measure to achieve rapid screening and avoid congestion.
It is obvious that, the virus does not respect borders so it can only be defeated by concerted efforts of all mankind. China therefore reaffirms its commitment to the friendship with Ghana, which was developed by the people of both countries over the past 60 years. China is grateful to Ghana for its invaluable support when China was at critical moment of combating Covid-19 in February 2020. China is always ready to work with Ghana in response to the Coronavirus pandemic. We firmly believe that, tested by the pandemic, the ties between the two Countries will be stronger to even determine our journey to common development and prosperity.
